- What did you do this past week?
This past week, I started looking over my initial projects for my computer science classes, as well as met with a study group for my Japanese class. Outside of school, I spent time with my family, as I left for Austin today. - What’s in your way?
As of now, nothing in particular is blocking me from moving forward. Now that I’m back on campus, I’ll hopefully be able to get back into a more academic mindset, and carry it throughout the semester. - What will you do next week?
Next week, I plan on starting (and hopefully finishing) my computer science projects early. Furthermore, I need to do some apartment upkeep (such as meal prep) now that I’m back in Austin. - What did you think of Paper #1: Syllabus?
The Syllabus was for the most part pretty normal, with the one exception of the grading scheme. It makes sense that we as students need to perform well across all aspects of the class, however, the schema seemed a little odd at first. - What was your experience of assertions and Collatz? (this question will vary, week to week)
I’m pretty familiar with assertions, and because I took Object Oriented Programming with Professor Downing already, I’m also very familiar with Collatz. - What made you happy this week?
This week, I celebrated the lunar new year early by making a few hundred dumplings with friends! It was a lengthy process, but it was well worth the effort. - What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
Installing the Python extension in VS Code provides various forms of support, such as with intellisense and linting.
