CS371p Spring 2021 Blog: Week of Mar 8 — Mar 14
What did you do this past week?
This past week I focused on catching up and completing a project for my Programming for Performance class. Additionally, I took my first test of the semester.
What’s in your way?
As for the moment, nothing is in my way! The straight path of projects and works is clear and in sight.
What will you do next week?
Next week, over the spring break, I hope to finish up some projects for various classes (including OOP), as well as prepare for tests after spring break.
If you read it, what did you think of the Liskov Substitution Principle?
As of now, I have not read the Liskov Substitution Principle.
What was your experience of heap arrays, allocators, and digits iterator? (this question will vary, week to week)
I have not particularly used allocators, other than using malloc. After attending lecture, however, I am more aware of the various ways to allocate and iterate in C++.
What made you happy this week?
As spring break has just begun, my little cousins were able to visit and hang out!
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
Listening to brown noise helps drown out the various sounds of one’s work environment, allowing one to code more effectively.
