CS371p Spring 2021 Blog: Week of April 12 — April 18
What did you do this past week?
This past week, I completed Darwin with my partner, as well as finished up some project for other classes.
What’s in your way?
Nothing in particular is in my way.
What will you do next week?
Next week, I will try and get an early start on Project #5: Life with my partner! I will also prepare for course registration.
If you read it, what did you think of the More getters and setters?
I have not read “More getters and setters.”
What was your experience of sequence containers, container adapters, and associative containers? (this question will vary, week to week)
Learning about deques and their resizing speed was interesting, and I will consider using them more in the future. As for the other containers, I have found them useful for coding challenges, relative to your average array.
What made you happy this week?
I tried crawfish for the first time this week! I’m not sure if I will continue eating them in the future, but it was a fun food to try!
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
While coding can be addicting, forcing yourself to take breaks during long sessions is extremely helpful. Even if you feel like you’re on the verge of success, accepting that one needs a break can provide some much needed clarity of mind.
